Job Summary and ResponsibilitiesAs our highly skilled and compassionate Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Critical Care Nocturnist, you will join our well established team in Tacoma, WA at St. Joseph Medical Center. This exciting opportunity allows you to practice in a supportive, physician-led setting with access to cutting-edge technology and a robust referral network within a regional healthcare leader.
Every day you will be dedicated to providing exceptional patient care in a supportive, patient-centered, closed ICU model environment. As part of Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, a faith-based, not-for-profit organization and proud member of CommonSpirit Health, you will be integral to a continuum of care that reflects our unwavering commitment to excellence.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Critical Care Intensivist with strong involvement in unit operations, leading daily multidisciplinary rounds and a strong commitment to clinical superiority and patient-centered care.
- On-Site Role: This is a 100% on-site position at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA.
- Collaborative Closed ICU Model: Practice within a closed ICU model, working closely with a dedicated Critical Care APP.
- Flexible Scheduling: We require a minimum of 35 shifts per quarter. Our scheduling is designed to accommodate your preferences
We are offering a competitive base salary that includes a guaranteed base salary and production incentives, commencement bonus, along with a comprehensive benefits package including health and wellness benefits, 401k with match, malpractice insurance with tail coverage, CME allowance, relocation assistance, and potential eligibility for federal student loan forgiveness.
Job Requirements
- Board Certification: ABA or ABIM in Critical Care. Combined Pulmonary and Critical Care board certification is highly desired.
- Candidates boarded in Emergency Medicine will be considered
- 2+ years of experience
- Ability to obtain a medical professional license in the State of Washington
- Ability to obtain a DEA with full prescriptive authority
