Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our General Cardiologist, you will join a thriving team within Dignity Health Medical Group, serving the active 55+ patient population of Prescott Valley, AZ. This exceptional opportunity offers a highly desirable work-life balance just 90 minutes from downtown Phoenix. You'll contribute to a practice recognized for its specialized expertise in Congestive Heart Failure, unique to this region, making a significant impact on community health outcomes. Our expanding team of cardiologists is seeking a dedicated professional ready to deliver top-tier cardiac care.

Every day you will be instrumental in managing a robust patient panel, with projected volumes of 20 face-to-face clinic visits daily. Your typical work week will integrate 3 to 4 full clinic days, with 1 to 2 days balancing half-day clinics, hospital call, and essential cardiac procedures. Utilizing state-of-the-art facilities, you'll perform a range of critical interventions including TEE, cardioversions, pacemaker implants, and heart catheterizations. You'll also participate in a shared call schedule, ensuring comprehensive coverage and collaborative patient management for our valued community.

To be successful in this role, you will be a board-certified or board-eligible Cardiologist with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care to a mature demographic. Your expertise in diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, including TEE, pacemaker placement, and heart catheterization, will be paramount. A collaborative spirit is essential, as you'll seamlessly integrate into our existing team of three providers and contribute to our rotating call schedule, which includes one day per week, one full weekend per month, and assigned holiday coverage. We are offering a competitive 2 year salary guarantee then RVU-based, a sign-on bonus, full benefits, CME allowance, Malpractice with tail coverage, and relocation assistance for eligible candidates. Job Requirements

Required

• Completion of a residency in medicine and a fellowship in cardiology from ACGME- approved programs
• Current BC/BE in Cardiology (American Board of Internal Medicine/Cardiology)
• Active or eligible license in the state of Arizona
• Valid DEA certificate
• Open to new graduates and experienced cardiologists
