Job Summary and Responsibilities

As a Gastroenterologist on our team, you will join a well-established practice providing general gastroenterology services to our close-knit, family-friendly community in Roseburg, OR.

Every day you will provide compassionate and expert care to support the needs of patients in our 174-bed hospital, CHI Mercy Health, and coordinate care in our outpatient clinic, Centennial Gastroenterology. ERCP is not currently performed, but is available for interested gastroenterologists.

Our experienced staff, both clinical and surgical, are dedicated to ensuring a seamless and rewarding experience for physicians and patients.

To be successful in this role, you must be a compassionate and skilled BC/BE Gastroenterologist interested in, and possess expertise in, inpatient gastroenterology.

Job Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification or board eligible in Gastroenterology from the American Board of Internal Medicine.
• Active an Oregon medical license and DEA certificate
• Specialty training at an ACGME accredited facility
• Proficiency in performing endoscopic and colonoscopy procedures.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
