Job Summary and Responsibilities As our Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist, you will join our hospital-employed group at our exceptional new facility, CommonSpirit Memorial Hospital in Ringgold, GA, which just opened in January 2026! This is a truly unique and impactful opportunity to be part of the founding team, working with advanced technology in a brand-new setting. Every day you will focus on providing high-quality inpatient care for adults in a modern, forward-thinking environment. This role offers an attractive 7 on / 7 off shifts (Tuesday to Monday, 7am - 7pm), providing a clear and predictable schedule for day shifts. You will operate in a highly supportive environment, free from Peds, OB, or Trauma cases. You will benefit from a reasonable census and an open ICU, allowing you to concentrate your expertise efficiently. Our new hospital features 64 Patient Rooms, a 24-Bed Emergency Department, an 8-Bed open Intensive Care Unit, 5 Operating Rooms, and comprehensive imaging services, providing state-of-the-art resources at your fingertips.
To be successful in this role, you will be a Board-Eligible/Board-Certified Internal Medicine Hospitalist with a dedication to providing outstanding, quality patient care in a brand-new, dynamic hospital environment.
- Diagnosing, treating, and prescribing for a diverse adult inpatient population.
- Ordering and interpreting necessary diagnostic tests to accurately assess patient conditions.
- Developing and managing comprehensive discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
- Collaborating effectively with specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes within an Open ICU setting.
- Maintaining accurate and thorough medical records using the hospital's EMR system, Epic.
- Adhering to all hospital policies, procedures, and patient safety protocols, especially in a newly launched facility.
- Providing compassionate care and clear communication to patients and their families regarding their health status and treatment plans.
- Continuously staying abreast of the latest developments in internal medicine and hospitalist care.

Job Requirements Required - MD or DO degree
- Board certified/board eligible in Internal Medicine
- Ability to obtain an active medical license & DEA for Tennessee and Georgia
- AHA BLS certification
