Nocturnist Positions - Hospital Medicine

The George Washington Medical Faculty Associates, an independent non-profit academic clinical practice group affiliated with The George Washington University and United Medical Center, is seeking full-time/part-time Nocturnists for its Division of Hospital Medicine. There are ample opportunities to mold the existing structure to enrich and grow the Hospital Medicine Division at United Medical Center, the only public hospital in the District of Columbia. Work alongside advanced practitioners in a seven on/seven off schedule, admitting and caring for general medicine patients. UMC has a closed ICU. Develop quality improvement projects, contribute to a collaborative working environment and shape the delivery of care at this institution. These are non-tenure track appointments which will be made at a rank (Clinical Instructor, Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor and Clinical Professor) commensurate with experience and board certification.

Basic Qualifications: Applicants must be Board certified/eligible in General Internal Medicine, and licensed in the District of Columbia, at the time of appointment. New graduates welcome!
