With an annual ED volume of 6,000 visits, Prowers Medical Center’s Emergency Services staff provides quality and compassionate care 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Emergency services at Prowers Medical Center are offered in a state-of-the-art facility that has recently been updated and expanded to a 7-bed, 9,500 square foot emergency department. Emergency department professionals strive to accommodate patients with particular needs including psychiatric care with a separate psychiatric illness room, two trauma rooms with bedside computer charting, negative pressure exam room and private patient consultation area.
