I forgot my password. How do I get it?
To get your password emailed to you click on the, Forgot your login link, type your
email address in the, Forgot your login block and it will be emailed to you.

How do I update my contact information?
Go to Update Account page once you log on and make the changes there.
CHARGE FOR SERVICE
Is there a fee to establish an account?
No, there is no charge to register and use ACP Career Connection.
CV
Where do I upload my CV?
Your CV is uploaded in the Create/Update Profile Page.
I didn’t include a CV when I first built my profile. Can I upload one at any time?
Yes, you can add your CV any time you are logged in by going to the, My Profile
page, then, selecting edit.
Can I upload a CV that is greater than 50K?
No, you would have to modify your CV to fit our size requirements. You will be able to
submit the full size CV if you send it through an email submission or after the
employer contacts you.
Can I upload multiple CV’s to my account?
No, we allow only one CV to be stored at a time. You have the option to edit it
anytime you are logged on.
Will I be able to choose which document/CV I would like to attach when applying for a job?
When you select the, Apply for this Job, option the CV you uploaded when building
your profile is what will be sent. If you plan on submitting a different CV, select the
email displayed in the, Contact Information section of the ad when available. You will
be able to attach a different CV and send with the email. You should note that your
profile will not be automatically included when you select this option. In order to
include your profile you will have to save your profile as a text document and attach it
or cut and paste it in to the body of the email.
CONFIDENTIALITY
How does ACP Career Connection keep my information confidential?
At no time will your information be shared unless you choose to do so when applying
for a job. Your profile and CV can not be accessed by anyone other than yourself. The
only time it can be viewed by a potential employer is if you apply online. Employers
do not have access to the ACP Career Connection’s database.
Do employers or recruitment firms have access to the ACP Career Connection site?
No, the only thing that employers and recruiters have access to are the available position.
SEARCHING AND APPLYING FOR POSITIONS
Do I need to be a registered user in order to search for open positions?
No, anyone can search for open positions.
Do I need to be a registered user in order to apply for a position online?
Yes. If you want to apply for a position online you have to login or create an account,
build a profile and upload and existing CV (optional).
Do I get a confirmation when I apply for a position?
After you apply online a pop up window and an email will be sent to you letting you
know you have successfully applied for the position.
Why have I not heard from the employer after I applied for a position?
After you submit your profile and CV to a specific employer it is their responsibility
to contact you. Some employers chose to contact only those applicants of interest.
EARLY JOB NOTIFIER
How do I shut off Early Job Notifier emails?
Go to the Early Job Notifier page, on the Turn email job notification, select off and
you will no longer receive emails.
REMOVING PROFILE FROM DATABASE
I just accepted a job offer and would like to remove my profile. How can I do that?
Go to Create, Update Profile page and select delete. This will delete your profile from
the database permanently. Keep in mind that once your profile is deleted should you
decide to come back to Career Connection you will have to build your profile from
scratch.
